Outreach

We're making a big difference together

We believe that serving others is one of the marks of being a follower of Jesus. That is why we go to great lengths to provide opportunities to love and serve people in our own backyard and around the world.

Join us and be a part of bringing transformation to our city and around the world.

Provide Hope

Provide Hope Food Rescue is our food ministry that gathers and distributes groceries to hundreds of families a week. We glean from grocers all of the Pacific Northwest, and get the food into peoples homes as quickly as possible. One mom shares, “Without the Provide Hope Food Rescue I’d not be able to make ends meet. The food provides a healthy diet for my kids, and I can pay may bills each month. Thank You.”

We constantly enlist people to drive our refrigerator truck for the weekly pickups, gather people to serve those we are serving and helping to organize for a healthy experience.

To get involved you can either contact Shannon Hill, or you can simply show up at the time and locations indicated below.

Join us in Monroe on Fridays. Unloading starts at 4:45pm.

Provide Hope Turkey Dinner give-away is the longest outreach at The Rock Church. In the early years of The Rock Church Pastor Jeff’s mom, Linda, took Jeff with a milk carton full of Thanksgiving fixin’s, to a widows home. Every year Jeff would carry the food into the house, and his mom would pray for her with Jeff. Well, the vision stuck, and The Rock has literally given away hundreds of meals every year since.  Years ago, we literally picked up frozen turkeys and gave them away by the dump truck load! Today, we give away a bag of non-perishables and a gift card. Each year those we are serving come to a Sunday experience and our teams serve them and bless them with a meal to feed their family on Thanksgiving. It’s incredible.

You can help by setting up with us and gathering food the week before Thanksgiving. We hang out at local grocers and gather the food from all the generous people of our city. And you’d be surprised how generous people are. The ten or so days it takes to gather and assemble the dinners are some of the funnest times to serve, we’d love you to play a part.

Provide Hope School Supplies is one way of giving to kids in a big way every school year. We who give to kids, lose nothing. The Monroe Fair Days parade, every August, is the perfect setting to get school supplies into the hands of kids. In the most desperate situations families come to The Rock Church offices and get a back pack full. Each year we give away hundreds of backpacks, and resource many families with what they need for their kids.

We are always needing people to walk in the parade and represent the life-giving message of The Rock Church. Donations times are year round, but we focus on receiving donations beginning in July each year.

In the month of December people celebrate the birth of Jesus, at Christmas. At The Rock Church we celebrate by making sure kids stay excited about the season. For our entire history bringing smiles to faces is what we are about with our toy give-away. We focus, both on the need with our Church community, and the greater need in the local community on Hope-Town Sunday. Look for it every December. It’s the best.

We receive gifts year-round, but we pick up the pace the weekend after Thanksgiving. You can grab a tag on the trees in the lobby, or you can just go out and purchase an awesome gifts, and bring it under the tree. On the day of the outreach your involvement will change your life as you look into the eyes of parents who are so blessed by what they are receiving. You’ll love it.

Reaching People

Launching in October 2017.

Celebrate Recovery is a place where people of all ages are welcome to exchange their hurts, habits and hang ups for the healing peace found in a restored identity.

Celebrate Recovery is based on the actual words of Jesus rather than psychological theory.  25 years ago, Saddleback Church launched Celebrate Recovery with 43 people. It was designed as a program to help those struggling with hurts, habits and hang-ups by showing them the loving power of Jesus Christ through a recovery process. Celebrate Recovery has helped more than 17000 people at Saddleback, attracting over 70% of its members from outside the church. Eighty-five percent of the people who go through the program stay with the church and nearly half serve as church volunteers.

The Rock Church hosted a successful Celebrate Recovery Ministry for years, and at the beginning of 2017, the Lord spoke to our Pastor to reignite and start a successful Celebrate Recovery again. Our teams have been working hard this year for the launch date this fall. It’s a not to miss moment.

The Marketplace ministry of The Rock Church is all about moving business leaders from mundane living to a life that inspires purpose. Too often business people achieve great success in the marketplace, but fail to find strengthened relationships, fellowship and insights with other people like themselves. We are here for you, and want to know you. We love your success story, and we want to celebrate with you in your journey. There is an incredible culture at The Rock Church for extreme success, and we are hopeful to get you linked up with other high-powered business people to reach your dreams.

One of the things we do as a Marketplace Ministry at The Rock Church that sets us apart is give generously. We gather and nurture the most generous givers in the body of Christ by equipping them with support and a platform for extreme giving. We are confident you will not only find friendship and meaningful connection at TRC Marketplace Ministry, but you are going to be blown away by the generosity of this incredible group of people.

We meet as a small group 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month as a Connect Group in Lake Stevens. Email us at info@trclife.com to get connected.

Don’t be one of those people who suffer through another year; instead, let God Inspire you.

We believe the first 100 days sets the tone of every year, and that’s why we kick off every year with Inspire. It’s always the last weekend of January, and you will be lifted with world-class speakers, fabulous fun and connecting with God about your year.

Inspire 2018; January 26 and 27. Ronnie Doss is back, plus another incredible speaker TBD.

Twice yearly, in January and September, we focus on 21-days of prayer and fasting. Always refreshing and every time these times awaken our spirit to the Holy Spirit.  The most under accessed person of the Trinity must be elevated in the life of the Church and believer, or people shall remain as they have been, dealing spiritually, physically, emotionally and socially.

Global Missions

Africa is a vast continent of differing landscapes and cultures. Its history is fascinating, disturbing and enlightening. Its people have captured our hearts! We invite you to take a closer look at what the Lord has laid upon our hearts for the people of Africa along with the challenges and opportunities we face. In turn, we hope your heart will be opened to the beautiful faces of those that call Africa home.

To reach out in a tangible way to every human being regardless of race, religion or culture who needs physical and material help by providing food, shelter, education, job training, housing, drinking water and rescuing children and women from the streets, garbage dumps, prostitution, low-caste persecutions and from inhumane conditions.

Our campaign to bring water around the world, has made its way to Asia. We have partnered with Pastor Sokhon Khan in Cambodia to bring fresh water to villages through the digging of wells.

This means that several villages now have water because of YOU, The Rock Church! Villages who would otherwise NEVER have fresh drinking water. Matt. 10:42, “And if you give ben a cup of cold water to one of the least of my followers, you will surely be rewarded.”

School of Champions was formed in 1998 with the mission to help the poor children living in and around the city dump in Puerto Vallarta; specifically to help them get an education. Our goal was to get them to school, keep them in school, and help them learn so that they would have an opportunity for a better job as well as a better life.

Provide Hope Partnership

The Rock Church team launched a 501c3 called Provide Hope. This is our non-profit we use to really accelerate our ability to go to the next level in our resourcing those in need and accomplishing what God has called us to do.  Provide Hope is about 3 things:

Food. Water. Hope.

It’s that simple. Our mission is to Provide Hope by Satiating Hunger and Quenching Thirst. We firmly believe that being a conduit and direct resource of Food and Water solutions provides Hope to the children, mothers, fathers, families, and elderly that we impact on a daily basis.

We believe that with each meal we give and each cup of clean drinking water we pump from a new well we are Providing Hope. And Hope is a powerful emotion, resident in each one of us, that can change the life of that one child, that one mother, that one family, that one village and our one world.
